The ramblings of a developer
Salting your coffee is new to me, but apparently it can be rather common. However, I'm not sure how I feel about this. I like my coffee black. I like to enjoy the unique tones and flavor of the roast. I imagine that this will either enhance or destroy those flavors.
Of course, I would never suggest doing as this author and adding 5 - 6 tablespoons. :)
